Plagiarism Policy

Every manuscript submitted to the CESSMUDS (Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, and Multi-Disciplinary Studies) Proceedings must be free from content that contains plagiarism. Authors are advised to use plagiarism detection software to check for content similarity. The editor detected plagiarism in the article submitted to the ESCAF Proceedings using anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin). The maximum threshold for plagiarism according to Ristekdikti regulations is 30%.

The Editorial Team of CESSMUDS (Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, and Multi-Disciplinary Studies) Proceedings acknowledges that plagiarism is unacceptable. The condition establishes a specific action policy (penalty) if plagiarism is identified and indicated in an article submitted for publication in the CESSMUDS (Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, and Multi-Disciplinary Studies) Proceedings.

Definition:
Plagiarism is an act, whether intentional or unintentional, of obtaining or attempting to obtain credit or value for a scientific work by quoting part or all of the work and/or scientific work of others, recognized as their scientific work, without properly and adequately stating the source.

Here are some things that fall under the category of plagiarism: Submitting an article created by someone else without proper citation; Paraphrasing without clearly stating the source; and Using ideas, theories, data, or information without including a clear source. If plagiarism is identified, the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for reviewing the article and will approve actions according to the level of detected plagiarism, with the following guidelines.

Plagiarism Level & Sanctions; Copying part of a short sentence from another article without citing the source.
Action: The author was warned and asked to revise the text and cite correctly. Plagiarizing most of another article without proper citation and not mentioning the source. 
Action: The submitted article is rejected for publication in the Proceedings, and the Author may be sanctioned by being prohibited from publishing in the CESSMUDS (Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, and Multi-Disciplinary Studies) Proceedings.

All article authors are responsible for the content of the articles they submit for publication in the Proceedings. If the Author is proven to have submitted a manuscript to the CESSMUDS (Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, and Multi-Disciplinary Studies) Proceedings while simultaneously submitting it to another proceedings/journal, and overlap is found during the review process or after publication, then action will be taken according to point 2 above.

Authors submitting their articles for publication in the CESSMUDS (Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, and Multi-Disciplinary Studies) Proceedings must ensure that their manuscripts are free from such issues. If plagiarism is proven in the article, the author must be willing to accept sanctions in accordance with the law, and CESSMUDS (Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, and Multi-Disciplinary Studies) Proceedings reserves the right to impose sanctions according to the editor team's policy.
